Woe When You Know

It's woe when you know that you're tearing apart,

But the torment won't go if you take out your heart.

When you're callous and cruel, you're  no less of a fool.

Still pain's on the path of a glorious start.

Your veins are aflame with the wishes you waste.

Your silver tongue's sour from losing the taste

Of the rarest delight that vanished by  night.

No speed is enough to escape from your haste.

You're locked into loss and trapped by your trust

Till your tethers decay and your chains go to rust.

But they're forged in the fire of rampant desire,

And those bonds can't be broken by lust.
